Corinne Delahanty Obituary
of Newark Valley
Corinne Delahanty, 78, of Newark Valley, left this world of pain and suffering and entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 8, 2007. Mrs. Delahanty was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; and sister, Adele Holcomb. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William and Bonnie Delahanty, Endicott; daughter and son-in-law, Doreen and Ronald Holbrook, Newark Valley; six grandchildren, April, Kameron, Tanner, Kaylie, Nathan, Nicole; special niece, June Ann Holcomb and Michelle Weiland; several nieces, nephews; and her feline companion, Foley. Connie was community minded and was a member of the Tioga County Democratic Committee and served as an election inspector for many years. She enjoyed ceramics, playing cards and spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 12, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego. Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Corinne "Connie" Delahanty's memory to the Weltonville Emergency Squad, c/o Connie Fedorowicz, 150 Lower Fairfield Road, Newark Valley, N.Y. 13811.
