Rachela Burdick Obituary

Rachela (Clara Paciocco) Burdick
of Binghamton
Rachela (Clara Paciocco) Burdick, 89, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2007, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Philip Burdick, and her parents, Peter Paciocco and Amelia Paciocco DiRenzo and brothers, George Paciocco Sr. and Gino DiRenzo. She is survived by two brothers and one sister-in-law, Thomas and Margaret DiRenzo, Endwell, Joseph DiRenzo, Binghamton; sister, Theresa Raffaldini, Naples, Fla.; a nephew and his wife, George and Barbara Paciocco, Las Vegas, Nev.; and several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews of the Paciocco, DiRenzo and Burdick Families. She was a retired employee of Lander Company and a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church.
Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, November 14, 2007, at 8:45 a.m. at the James V. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson, N.Y. and continue at 9:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. Please consider memorial contributions in Rachela's memory to St. Mary's Soup Kitchen, 37 Fayette St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13901.

My first job as a young woman was at Lander Company in the office and I had the pleasure of working with Clara & Phil. They were lovely people and a joy to know. My sincere condolences to the family.
