Dale E. Cummings
fomerly of Johnson City
Dale E. Cummings, 68, of Visalia, CA, died on November 15, 2007. He was predeceased by his parents, Lewis and Eva Cummings, Johnson City and his brother, Lewis Cummings, California. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Cummings of Varsalia, CA; three sons, Terry Cummings and Todd Cummings of California and Scott Cummings of Maryland; a daughter Theresa Slane and husband Mark of California, sisters Dorothy Zalenski of Johnson City, Helen Delafield of Binghamton and Kay Ferrer of North Carolina. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ronan, Aidan and Declan Slane. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dale Cummings was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He grew up in Binghamton, NY. He enjoyed his service in the Army Engineer Corp. He was a mechanic and truck driver by trade. He had a passion for flight - be it RC or his own plane. He was also an absolute Dodger baseball fan. Dale will be missed.
Memorial services will be held on November 20, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at a later date at San Joaquin National Cemetery. Condolences may be e-mailed to [email protected]. Arrangements are made by Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel.
