I spent the last few months of Gail's life with her as a new aide at her home. Gail was the very first person I met the first time I ever walked into her home. In the very short time I knew her I really came to care for her. She'll always be in my memories and made a positive impact on all who met her. She still puts a smile on our faces!!! Gail, her mother, and family and friends will be in my prayers.

To MA Bengal and Family,my deepest sympathy at such a difficult time.In 1983 I met you and both your girls at Camp Evans (state park) while working with you and Bill Tracy in the kitchen. After leaving the Army you helped me readjust to living in the real world. I remember your girls very well and the conversations we had about our family members living good lives with Downs Syndrome.Mr.Bengal and Carol will take good of Gail just like you did here.Take care of yourself Ma.

i DID MY INTERNSHIP FROM cORTLAND COLLEGE AT bROOME AND WORKED WITH gAIL ON UNIT 5-c.I of course knew all about her from Carol who was my classmate at Cortland. I became the Rec therapist assigned to gail's unit in 1980. I also became her Rt at CB lord and then at her house at harding and Taft. So Gail and I had spent a lot of time together at all the SO's, camping Darien Lakes, etc over the years. I miss her and all the clients at Taft to this day wish i never left for a day job. I am comforted knowing that gail and Carol are together and am sad for our loss of not having her here. i loved her!Plese let me know if there is ANYTHING I can do.
