Mary A. Healey

Mary A. Healey, of Woodland Manor, Vestal, N.Y. formerly of Carbondale, Pa., died Friday at Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton, N.Y. She was the widow of Charles "Brick" Healey, who died in 1996. Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late George and Loretta Gilhool Kuzmack. She was a member of Saint Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale, and also of Saint Ambrose Church, Endicott, N.Y. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed her many friends at Woodland Manor. Surviving are a daughter, Mary Cay Tomaine, Endicott, N.Y.; and three sons, Charles Healey, Mount Pocono, George Healey, Forest City, and Tim Healey, Fort Myers, Fla.; and eight grandchildren, including Cathy Vriessma and her husband, Tom, Endicott, Maureen Springfield and her husband, Alex, Deptford, N.J., and Michelle Tomaine, Binghamton, and 12 great-grandchildren and 1 niece and several nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Kuzmack; and a brother, Jack Kuzmack.
The funeral will be Monday with Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Rose of Lima Church, 6 North Church St., Carbondale, to be celebrated by Msgr. Joseph G. Quinn, Pastor. Private family viewing will be held. Interment, parish cemetery. Arrangements by the Brennan and Brennan Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Lincoln Ave., Carbondale. Memorial donations may be made to Lourdes Hospice, 4102 Old Vestal Road, Vestal, N.Y. 13850.
