Is this the same Mrs. Herman that was an assistant principal at St. Joseph's Catholic School in the early 1980's alongside Mrs. Battleson and Mrs. Dumond in El Paso, Texas? If so she stuck out in my mind all of these years. I was in the first grade in 1982-83 and she was the assistant principal. My grandparents adopted me due to my mother not being fit to raise me and my biological father and his side of the family were very disfuntional and were trying to get me. My grandparents explained everything to the school and she worked alongside with the staff to ensure that I was safe and protected. I remember her but my grandparents always spoke highly of her. I thank her tremendously for all she did to protect me. May she rest in peace!

Anne was an inspiration to me from he time I met her at 20 something. I will never forget her and everything she did for me. I remember walking into Social Services with her and being amazed at the way she could smile and make people know at the same time she was not messing around. Anne made good things happen.

Kelli and family -
So sorry to hear of the loss of a great woman. I remember the days when we worked at the theatres, you telling me about all of the new "adventures" that your Mom was embarking on. She was quite an amazing woman who touched many lives and I know that she instilled her strength and values deeply into her children. May the many wonderful memoiries that you have of her give you comfort in this time of sadness. God Bless.
