Anna Sablich
of Binghamton
Anna Sablich, 94 years, of Elm Street, fell asleep in the Lord on Tuesday morning, November 27, 2007, at the Vestal Nursing Center. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Helen (Susko) Sablich; a brother, Alec Sablich; and two sisters, Julia and Mary Warner. She is survived by two nephews, Ronald Sablich and Eddie Warner; and three nieces, Donna Bogutsky and her husband, Larry Perrin, Marlene and her husband, Michael Cushner and Deborah and her husband, Sam Nasca. She was a member of St. Michael's Greek Catholic Church and a retired employee of Dunn-McCarthy of Binghamton.
A Divine Liturgy will be celebrated by the Very Rev. Protopresbyter James Dutko on Friday, 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Greek Catholic Church, 292 Clinton Street, Binghamton. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Rev. Dutko will conduct a prayer service 3 p.m., Thursday at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect Street, Binghamton, where the family will receive friends Thursday, 3-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Anna's memory to her church.
