I dated sweet Ernie for five years, from 1966-1971, and enjoyed his music so much. My mother, Ann Gallagher, and now deceased brother Bob and wife loved dancing to his band. May Ernie's love for Our Savior find him a special place in his eternal glory. I loved this gifted artist so much!

Ernie & I were in the 8th grade class (1951) at the old Christopher Columbus Jr. High School in Binghamton. I'd kind of lost track of the members of this class and couldn't help remember them after seeing Ernie's death announcement. I'm looking at the photo of the 1951 class which brings back memories

I always thought that Ernie was one great guy and I know he will be missed. My condolences & best wishes to Ernie's family.
