To all the Dayton family. I too knew Bernie from our days in the Army Reserve. I also got to see him and chat with him at several wrestling events. He was a good man and will be missed. Bless you all.

Gloria and Tim:
Our deepest and most sincere sympathies to you on the loss of your husband and father. As you know, Bernie and I go back a good number of years from the days of the old 73rd Field Hospital to the 816th Station Hospital and to our retirement from the US Army Reserve program.
Bernie possessed a wealth of knowledge concerning the military and was a person I could always turn to and count on for assistance and advice. Even after moving away from the New York area, I'm happy we stayed in touch. He was a true fried and will be missed. Thank you for notifying me of his passing.
