It saddens me to hear of this loss, no words can truly express my condolences. I can’t believe that Mr. Rice has left this earth. So many memories come flooding through my mind as I think about him. I will always remember him walking Ace around the neighborhood when I was a child. Our families were neighbors, friends who became very close through the years and most of all an extended family to each other. He was a good man and will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathies and prayers are with the entire family.

My heart goes out to you at this time. Rice was a good man and sports fan. Playing in the Park, Rice would often watch and give us encouragement. His company on a road trip to watch King play at UNC will always remain with me.
