Sara Newbauer Spyratos
of Oxford
Sara Newbauer Spyratos, 62, of Oxford, passed away unexpectedly on December 5, 2007, at Binghamton General Hospital. She was born on June 4, 1945 in Jersey City, N.J., the daughter of Peter and Sophie (Babbish) Newbauer. On August 14, 1962 she married Spyro Spyratos, who survives. Besides her husband, Spyro; she is survived by children, Jerry and Tina Spyratos and Bill Spyratos, Oxford, and Jim and Wendy Spyratos, Virginia; her parents, Peter and Mildred Newbauer; her grandchildren, Spyro, Helen, Britany, Demetrios, and Sophia; her brothers and sisters, Peggy and Ray Fincke, Peter and Jackie Newbauer, Karen and Joe Hansen, Mike Newbauer, Ray and Jen Newbauer, Carol and Dave McMahon, Patty and Dave Stade, and Mildred Wall. She was predeceased by her sister, Sandy Anzano.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Oxford. Friends may call at the Behe Funeral Home, Oxford on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oxford Fire Department Emergency Squad.
