Joseph Cambiaso

Passed away peacefully on September 7, 2010 at Anna House in Windsor at the age of 84. Joseph, fondly known as Joe, was born in Healdsburg and became the winemaker for the family winery, Cambiaso Winery, until his retirement in 1977. He and his loving sister Rita, lived in their home in the Dry Creek Valley, which Joseph lovingly and meticulously maintained. He was a kind, soft spoken gentleman who loved tending to his garden and vineyard and who was loved by all who knew him. Joseph was an Army Veteran who served his country proudly in World War II in the 452nd Engineer Department as a technician. Joseph is preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Cambiaso and his sister Theresa Casazza. At Joseph's request there will be no formal services. Graveside Services will be held at Oak Mound Cemetery, 601 Piper St, Healdsburg on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to Memorial Hospice, 821 Mendocino Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95401.
