To the Addison Family,
It has been years since I have been in Teddy's company. We were both reared on the East Side of Providence and our parents were friends...in the days ago.
Whenever I receive info of a loss of another schoolmate, friend, associate, or East Side'r...that has touched my life, it puts the reality of life in perspective. We should enjoy every moment...every moment...
I send my sincere sympathy to Teddy's family.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
Jon & I loved you very much and cherished every momment we had together with you. The Holiday get togethers in particular with Valerie & Kimberly and everyone who stopped in wont be the same without you, but you will be forever in our hearts and prayers always. We love you & you will be sadly missed.

My Theo,
They say that time heals all wounds, even a broken heart. I know that I have to take one day at a time, but at present each day moves far too slowly. Each day I continue to tell myself that you are in a better place smiling, healthy and happy. Only through God and his earthly angels carrying me through these dark days am I able to survive. Rest well my love.

Mommy and Aunt Dolores,
There are no words of comfort when you lose your Brother. The only people who see the world through your eyes are your siblings. You laugh at the same things, you like the same things, the same people--you see life the same way--because you're Brother and Sister. The loss of one of you can only hope to make the relationship between the siblings who are left behind that much stronger. Take care of each other--it's our relationship as Sister & Brother and the Grace of God which helps us to make it through. We know how you feel.

I know how much you loved Uncle Teddy. He was your favorite uncle. He was also my favorite brother. Remember the the wonderful times you spent with him and loved him. I remember you 3 sitting at the kitchen table and laughing loudly at something and how happy you all were. Remember the happy times and smile. He fought a valiant battle and now he is with God. Always remember him and what he meant to both of you.

Uncle,
There was a man who played the game of life so well. There was a man, whose thoughts U could never tell. And it's just the way he thought it would be. And the day has come from him to be free. So he laughs, kicks and rolls up his sleeves. "I'm alive and I'm here 4ever!" You are that man. You will always be alive in our hearts as we LIVE WELL 4 TODAY! I love you Uncle.

Grandpa, never once have I met of your distinction and your caliber. A man so rich in joy, peace, power, honor, integrity, and most of all, love. All of my life you've been more than just a grandfather; you've been a grandfather, a father, and a friend. Without you, I doubt I would be the man that I am today. You've shown me how to be genuine, responsible, and courageous. You've shown me how to overcome and be persistent in life, to which I am greatly appreciative. Hopefully, I will be greater than the man that you've expected me to become. Although you are no longer with us, it brings me peace to know that your physical being no longer troubles you, and that you are in a much better place. You will be in my heart, and reflected in my life and my actions forever . You were indeed more than a man, but less than a God. I love you grandpa.
Your Grandson,

Dear Anthony, Joe & Allie,
We know how important Popa was in your lives and how much you truly miss him. Be comforted by the happy memories you have of him - remember the things that made him laugh, the places he took you to, the meals you shared with him and, most importantly, the lessons that he taught you. We know how sad you are because he's gone but be glad that he is at peace with God and not suffering. Popa was a strong man - physically and morally. His strength will always be a part of who you are.
Love Always,
Auntie Aba and Uncle Mike
