Mary McGinn Obituary
She was born in Memphis TN., she was the daughter of the late Louis and Ruth (Fowler) Overton.
Mrs. McGinn had worked as a waitress and hostess for the Holiday Inn, Providence. She was the owner of Maritique Cosmetics. She also was site manager at Rumford Towers and Hagan Manor. She graduated from the Institute of Real Estate Management and was licensed in Rhode Island and Florida.
Mother of John J. McGinn, Patricia Marshall, Helen Sheehan, Mary Hoffman, Ruth Bucci, Joan Piccardi, Theresa and Jane McGinn, and the late Linda McGinn. Sister of Louise Roberson and the late Doris Montanaro. Grandmother of 9 and Great-Grandmother of 7.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, 5-8 p.m. in the PONTARELLI- MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private, please omit flowers. To all of Mary's family. I was saddened to read of your mother's loss. I am sorry that I could not attend the wake or the funeral. My mother was very sad also to hear of Mary's passing. I will always remember her as a kind, compassionate and patient woman who always had a twinkle in her eye and a kind word for all. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I'll always have fond memories of the McGinn household (in the middle of the street) where lots of laughter and love were in abundance. Your mom was a hard worker, but always did things with a smile.
