George Giusti Obituary

GIUSTI, GEORGE R., 92, of Beech Tree Place, Wakefield, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 5, 2008 at home. He was the beloved husband for 56 years of Marguerite (Gibbons) Giusti.

Born in Boston, Michigan, a son of the late Orlando and Maria (Ciampi) Giusti, he lived in Detroit, MI and later Springfield, MA before moving to RI in 2003.

Mr. Giusti was the plant engineer for Uniroyal in Chicoppe Falls, MA for 45 years, and later served with their International Division in Korea, Turkey and Mexico before retiring.

Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Dr. Ruthann M. Giusti and her husband Scott Dennis of Rockville, MD, Professor Karin F. Giusti of Brooklyn, NY, Rosemary Giusti-Dillon and her husband Michael of Highland, CA and Loren A. Robenhymer and her husband Joseph of Narragansett; loving grandfather of 17; loving great-grandfather of 3; and dear brother of Fred Giusti of Oak Park, CA and Mary Dragavich of Canada.

His funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME-SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd., (Rt.1A) Narragansett, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Veronica Chapel, Boston Neck Rd., Narragansett at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Wakefield. VISITING HOURS Tuesday 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Home & Hospice Care of RI, 143 Main St., Wakefield, RI 02879.
