Dori, You have been on my mind all these months, and especially during this holiday season. I look at the nativity scene you made me and the carolers and think of you everyday. I am so thankful that you and Noel were a part of our lives. Love you, Carmen Ashford

Dori & Brendon,
My sincerest condolences to you, and your loved ones, on the loss of Noel. Although I never met him in person, I talked with him so many times, I felt that I knew him, and when I saw his picture---it was just as I had imagined he would look! He was a truly special person, and spoke so lovingly, and so often, of his wife and son, that I felt I knew the two of you also. My prayer is that God will comfort you in these next weeks and months, until Time does the healing work that only the passing of time can do....

Dori, I was so sorry to hear Noel passed away. I know he's in a much kinder place. When you came to the nursery to buy a weeping cherry for his memory it broke my heart. You and Noel seem to be so accepting of his fate. I'm sure every time you look out your bedroom window and see his tree it will bring a smile to your face, knowing how much you two shared. I hope the wind russeling thru the leaves at night will calm your mind and drift you off to a peaceful sleep. I wish you well

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

I am sorry to hear of Noel's passing. Throughout the years we worked together, I was impressed with his professionalism, sense of humor, and gentleman demeanor. No matter what the problem, Noel found a solution that corrected the problem and seemed to please everyone involved. He worked long hours, with limited resources, all the while keeping in mind what would benefit the students as well as the "system". His smile and work ethic will be sorely missed!

Dori and Brendon,
Bill and I are so very sorry hearing you lost your wonderfully devoted husband and father. It was always a pleasure talking to Noel when he had a chance to stop in for, what was always, a pleasant chat at our respective schools. He will be missed by many, and be in our thoughts and prayers.
Fondly,

Dori & Brendan:
Can't begin to say how sorry for both of you I am, also sorry for the many friends & family he has now left behind, it's a great thought to think of him now watching over us. I will miss him terribly, his sense of humor was second to none other.
They say it takes a minute
to find a special person,
an hour to appreciate them,
a day to love them,
but then an entire life
to forget them."
