JUST WANTED TO SAY & WISH YOU A "HAPPY" HAPPY" "BIRTHDAY"!!! YOU WERE, AND"NEVER" FORGOTTEN!!! I KNOW I WASN'T THE PERFECT DAUGHTER, AND LITERALLY, "PUT YOU THROUGH HELL", BUT, AS I CAME TO FIND MYSELF, BEING" SAVED" IN 1994, THANK YA LORD, I GREW TO REALIZE, THAT I HAD & STILL HAVE THE "BEST, HARD WORKING, STRUGGLING, DETERMINED, HEAD STRONG, DEDICATED MOTHER, THAT PUT HER KIDS FIRST, AND DID EVERYTHING SHE HAD TO SURVIVE AND MAKE ENDS MEET, WHEN THERE WAS PRACTICALLY NOTHING !!! YOU MADE "SOMETHING" OUT OF "NOTHING"!!! YOU VOLUNTEERED QUITE A BIT, AT THE "CETA" PROGRAM, BACK IN THE 80'S, JUST SO ME, DIANE & DOREEN COULD HAVE SOMETHING TO EAT OR CLOTHES TO WEAR!!! THAT'S JUST THE "TIP OF THE ICE BURG"!!! BOTTOM LINE WAS, YOU WERE, AND STILL ARE THAT DEDICATED, SELFLESS MOTHER, THAT WENT WITHOUT TO HELP OTHERS!!! I WAS DEFINITELY NOT THE PERFECT, "LEAVE IT TO BEAVER" DAUGHTER OR SISTER, BUT GOING THROUGH MY JOURNEY INTO FINDING MYSELF & "JESUS CHRIST", I REALIZED THAT I WAS "BLESSED" WITH A TRULY "AWESOMELY" "DEDICATED" "GODLY" "MOM " THANK YOU FOR ALL THE TIME, LOVE & EFFORT THAT YOU SELFLESSLY GAVE IN RAISING & CREATING A, NOW, GOOD PERSON & STILL, "WORK IN PROGRESS"!!!" HAPPY" "HAPPY" "BIRTHDAY"!!! MUCH LOVE & RESPECT!!! DEBORAH ANN COLLINS & KYLE- JORDAN COLLINS!!! REST IN PEACE!!! LOVE U LOTS!!!

this is to diane and the rest of pat's family, pat will be sorely missed by us all. we helped pat out in the soup kitchen every saturday and let me tell you just being around pat made you feel her cheery self. unfortunatly i had to move out of state due to my illness and i cried not because of leaving r.i. or anything but because i was leaving pat. that was the hardest thing for me to do. me and my children could not wait to come back in august to see pat and diane now i am not so eager to go back because we will not see pat's cheery self there but we will come back to see Diane and the rest of their gang. Any one who knew Pat had to love her she was just that type of person. I just wish that i could have seen her for one last time instead of calling her house the day of or the day after her passing.I love Pat with all of my heart and she will always have a special place in my heart the rest of my life.

To Pat's daughters and their families I send my deep sympathy for the loss of their lovely mother and grandmother. Having worked with Pat for many years at the State House, my first stop each morning was her office for her cheery hello.
She will be sorely missed by many, but i will hold her and all of you in my heart. Nancy Gendron

To Pat's daughters and family - I had the pleasure to work with Pat for more than 12 years in the Governor's Office. She touched the lives of so many people during the course of her career. Her kindness to all she came in contact with was truly appreciated. Pat's personnel file is filled with many cards and letters thanking her for her assistance from constituents she helped over the years. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren whom she adored. She will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Sincerely, Linda Castaldi

What a blessing will be missing from the Pawtuxet Valley!! Pat Collins was a shining light to the folks who lunched at the Senior Center each Saturday noon. She gave of herself through the West Warwick Assistance Agency and the West Bay St. Vincent de Paul Chapter. When the Shepherd's Table Soup Kitchen began 11 years ago it was Pat and her helpers who were instrumental in orienting us and with physical and financial help at the outset. She was a great supporter and a greater friend. We send our love and prayers to her family as we share their sorrow at her passing. We know she is receiving her eternal reward. God bless you, Pat!! To the Collins family I extend my deepest sympathy. I worked with Pat for 5 years during Governor Almond's administration. I always enjoyed talking with her and sharing our love for all things Italian. She had a deep love for her family and her community. I will miss her so much and am a better person for knowing her.

I would like to extend my condolences to Pat's family. I worked directly with Pat in Governor Almond's office but I had many opportunities for contact with her before and after that special time. Her friendly voice and upbeat personality always made your call a pleasant experience. She will be sorely missed and always remembered fondly.

I worked with Pat in Governor Almond's Office for more than 5 years and in that time, she was nothing short of wonderful. She was generous, kind, loving, warm, sincere and she wouldn't hesitate to help a friend in need in any way that she possibly could. She will be missed by me and many others who adored her.

To the Collins Daughters and Family, I was saddened to read of your mother's passing in this morning's paper. I worked with your mom at the State House during the Sundlun Administration. She was one of the nicest people I have ever met. I hope at some point she finally did get to meet Al Pacino. May she rest in peace.
