Edward Lesneski Obituary

LESNESKI, EDWARD JR., 57, of Victory Highway, died not alone, but in his mother's loving arms, after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer, Saturday, July 12, 2008 at his home.

In his last days, he had been surrounded by a loving family. Mr. Lesneski was born in Newport a son of Florence M. (Powell) Lesneski of West Greenwich and the late Edward Lesneski, Sr. He had been a resident of West Greenwich for most of his life. Mr. Lesneski was a mechanic for various automotive firms for many years until illness.

Besides his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Kerrie L. Lesneski of West Greenwich, sister Cynthia A. Bastien and brother-in-law Roger Bastien of Coventry, two grandchildren, Hailey Marie Lesneski of West Greenwich, Aidan Michael-Edward Cory of Tiverton, daughter-in-law Amanda Lesneski and former wife Terri-Ann Hathaway. He was the father of the late Edward Lesneski, III and brother of the late Michael L. Lesneski.

Kerrie, Amanda, Hailey, & families...so very sorry to hear of Ed's illness and passing....we have all been like family for so many years..my heart goes out to all of you, and your grandmother...I know that now Ed is resting & at peace with his son. I love you all.
