Maria Aguiar Obituary
Born in Feteiras do Sul, Sao Miguel, Azores a daughter of the late Manuel and Maria C. (Tavares) Raposa she came to the US in 1967 and settled in Pawtucket. Prior to retiring in 1988 she had been employed as a floor girl for the International Packaging Co. of Pawtucket for fifteen years. Mrs. Aguiar was a Communicant of St. Anthony Church, Pawtucket.
She is survived by three sons, Luis Aguiar of Pawtucket, Josemaria Aguiar of East Providence and Albert Aguiar of Attleboro, two daughters Adriana Resendes of Cumberland and Maria DeMedeiros of Seekonk, two brothers Manuel Reis of No. Providence and Jose Raposo of East Providence, a sister Maria Medeiros of Pawtucket, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Albert Raposa.
Funeral Saturday at 9:00 AM from the LACHAPELLE FUNERAL HOME 643 Main St., with A Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony Church Lawn Ave., Pawtucket at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Her life will be remembered with calling hours Friday 5-8PM. Interment Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.

Tia Conceicao was one very special lady, whom we (her many nieces, nephews & friends) loved and admired greatly. We will always remember her for her wonderful hospitality and her delicious sweet rice (arroz doce) --"Thank you Tia for being you! You will remain in our hearts forever. We love you!"--
