Barbara Morse-Manchester Obituary

MORSE-MANCHESTER, BARBARA L. (AMES), 76, of Starboard Avenue, went to be with the Lord Saturday at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Samuel A. Manchester and the former wife of the late Earl B. Morse.

Born in Lewiston, ME, she was a daughter of the late George F. and Jeanette (May) Ames.

Besides her husband she leaves seven children, Brenda F. Crawley, Donna M. Hanks, Frank E. Morse, Ritchie F. Morse, Robert E. Morse, Randy A. Morse and Tammy L. Olszewski; two brothers, Skip and Gordon Ames; 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 10am in the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown. Burial will follow in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 to8pm.. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of RI, 931 Jefferson Blvd., Ste. 1005, Warwick, RI 02886 will be appreciated.
