Gertrude Dupras Obituary
Born in St. Charles de Mandeville, Quebec, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Hermenegilde and Edwilda (Mousseau) Pincince. She resided in Cumberland for over 50 years. She was employed by Hasbro Inc. of Pawtucket for 25 years, retiring in 1982.
She leaves her son, Robert G. Dupras of Cumberland; a daughter, Diane M. McNamara of Warwick; two grandsons; Derek Dupras of Whitinsville, MA, William McNamara of Warwick, one granddaughter, Katie McNamara of Warwick; a brother, Gerard Pincince of Cumberland; and two great-granddaughters, Naomi and Chloe Dupras. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Ronald W. Dupras, and sister of the late Alice Depot and Gisele MacKenzie.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 9 AM from the J.J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Aidan Church, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Calling Hours will be held from 5-8 PM, Tuesday, July 22. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, Rhode Island Chapter, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906. Diane, I was so sorry to learn of your mom's passing, she was always so nice to me, you were lucky to have her for these many years. My mom and dad, Thelma & Bill send their condolences to you, also.

SORRY FOR THE LOSS OF YOUR, DEAR AND WONDERFUL MOM. SHE WAS THE VERY BEST, THAT I HAD KNOWN. MY AUNT, AND GODMOTHER,WE WERE BEST OF FRIENDS ALSO. I WILL MISS HER , WITH MY WHOLE HEART AND SOUL. I LOVED HER DEARLY. SHE IS NOW WITH ALL OF HER FAMILY NOW, SO I AM AT PEACE WITH THAT. THE LORD HAD TAKEN, WELL CARE OF HER. SHE HAD 90 WELL YEARS. SHE HAD A VERY GOOD RIDE. I HAVE ALL, GOOD MEMORIES OF, MY AUNT GERT. SHE WILL N0T EVER BE FORGOTTEN.
