To the Crockett Family & Nancy's Children:
Nancy and I go way back (1959!) I met her when we moved to South Providence. The last day we spend together we went down to RIC campus to hear Obama speak. Nancy talked to the guy on the door (we all know she could talk a good talk) well, Nancy got us in right in the VIP section! We had a wonderful time that day. Something I will always remember of my friend Nancy Crockett. That is my memory of Nancy and I know you all probably have many more. Those memories of her will get you by these days without her. She has moved on to a better place than us. May she rest in peace.
Love & God's Blessing to You All -

I met Ms. Nancy for the first time through a very good friend of hers, my mom, Gloria Gomes (Mangum) a few years ago during one of our family visits back home in RI. I heard many childhood stories of Ms. Nancy, Ruthie (Jones), and my mom all "hanging out" doing the girlie, fun things in their youth.
I did not know Ms. Nancy long, but it was surely good meeting her and putting a face with all those funny stories. (smile)
Rest in peace, Ms. Nancy. May the Lord bless your family during this time of sorrow. Many prayers from my family to yours.
God bless.
