John Russillo Obituary

RUSSILLO, JOHN S. 'BROTHER' 63, of Alto Street, Cranston, passed away Monday July 21, 2008 at home. He was the beloved husband of Elvira (Assanti) Russillo.

Born in Providence he was the son of the late John T. and Beatrice (Marzocchi) Russillo. He worked for NAPA Parts of Smithfield. Mr. Russillo was an active softball player for the past 40 years.

Besides his wife he is survived by his son Steve Russillo, one grandchild, and a sister Elvira Verdecchia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Cross Church, Hartford Avenue, Providence on Friday at 10:00 a.m. and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston Thursday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. I was sorry to hear of John’s passing. I worked with John doing the commissary at the ACI and he was a hot ticket. There was never a dull moment when John was around. Sorry for you loss.

Elvie ever since I could remember you and brother have been so special to me from just being just a little girl to the person I am today.
