Kevin McCabe Obituary
Born in Providence, a son of John F. and Margaret A. (Leary) McCabe of Middletown, formerly of Warwick, he had lived in Tampa for 20 years. Kevin was employed with Crosstown Couriers for the last several years.
Kevin will be sorely missed by his loving family. Besides his parents, he leaves 3 brothers, John P. McCabe of West Kingston, Patrick J. McCabe of Jamestown, and Michael D. McCabe of Warwick; 5 sisters, Rosemary A. Geoghegan of Warwick, Elizabeth M. Taylor of Keswick, VA; Kathleen C. McCabe- Blank of Middletown, Margaret A. Dobbing of Narragansett, and Maura J. Baudouin, of Monroe, CT; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Kevin was a graduate of University of Massachusetts at Boston majoring in Philosophy and History. He was also a graduate of LaSalle Academy and Tyler School. He was an avid reader and engaging conversationalist. Kevin was loved for his quick wit, wealth of knowledge, thoughtful ways, and skill for dancing.
His funeral will be Friday at 8:45 AM from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial in the Cathedral of SS. Peter & Paul, 1 Cathedral Square, Providence at 10 AM. Calling Hours Thursday 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to the RI Community Food Bank, 200 Niantic Ave., Providence, RI 02907 will be appreciated. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.

Jack and the McCabe Family,
Although I never had the privilege of knowing Kevin, I felt a sense of what a talented, loving and caring person he was through talking with his brother Jack this morning. My thoughts and prayers are with the McCabe family. Though I am so from the past I have always had your wonderful family in my thoughts throughout the years. Although my relationship with your family began with my friendship with Jackie, and being the biggest groupie of the ELASTIC BAND, I became very friendly with Kevin. I did not have the pleasure of knowing Kevin as an adult, but as a teenager, he was funny, sensitive, smart, caring, a great friend and one of the nicest boys I have ever known. Kevin has always and will always have a special place in my heart.
