Rita Taraborelli Obituary

TARABORELLI, RITA P. (EVANGELISTA), 77, of Warwick, formerly of Coventry, passed away Friday, July 25, 2008 at Haven Health Center, Coventry after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Albert Taraborelli.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Gaetano James and Felicia Phyllis (D'Uva) Evangelista. Mrs. Taraborelli was the assistant manager to the purchasing agent for Gulton Industries of East Greenwich for eighteen years before retiring in 1990. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by one Aunt, Jean D'Uva of Johnston and three cousins, Anthony D'Uva and his wife Loretta of Smithfield, Robert D'Uva of Cranston and Carol Altrui and her husband John of Scituate.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 6 St. Vincent de Paul Street, Coventry. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd. Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886. I am really sorry over your loss. I was a bingo caller when they had it at SP2. Rita always had a kind word for me. She will be missed.
