Dear Emily, Richard and Jon and families,

I just heard about your Mom, she was a wonderful person, I was very upset to hear about her illness. My parent's were also saddened by her passing. I truly understand how you feel, my Mom (Louise) also passed from cancer in August. The world will never be the same without them in it. I find comfort knowing that they are in heaven and no longer in pain.

Sincerely, Pamela Cardi Forti

Dear Richard, Jon, and Emily,
I just arrived home from a two week stay in NJ, to hear about Leslie.

Leslie and I talked in May. We talked about Barbara Sedlock, we talked about teaching, we talked about you. Leslie seemed to be so proud of her children and seemed to be at peace.
Your mother leaves a wonderful legacy of all the children she worked with, worked for, and advocated for.
May your good memories sustain you through the coming days.

Emily, Jonathan, and Richard,
You may not remember us from years ago. Our daughter, Katie was your babysitter. We have many fond memories of your mother when you were all very young. And, most recently, your mother had two of our grandsons at Meadowbrook. She was a warm, kind-hearted woman and will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
