Dear Pat, Scott and Mark
Ray as all of you are in our hearts today and everday. We are here for you whenever the need may arise

"Everybody Loves Raymond"
Usually at this time of night I am sitting at home preparing to eat and watch one of my favorite sitcoms, can you guess? "Everybody Loves Raymond" Last night while watching that sitcom I wrote some things down to say tonight and I would like all of you to participate with me while I tell them to you. Every time I say (because), please say "Everybody Loves Raymond". Let me proceed.

As I grew closer to Ray I quickly found out that he had a drum and always walked to the beat of it irregardless of what anyone thought because "Everybody Loves Raymond". If you ever went somewhere with Ray or invited him somewhere you could always be sure that he would be the last to arrive and probably the last to leave but it didn't matter because 'Everybody Loves Raymond".

Ray thought he could Country Dance and so often we would be on the dance floor together going in the wrong direction, bumping into someone or just completely forgetting our steps but again it didn't matter because "Everbody Loves Raymond". Later in our friendship we took trips together by plane, bus or car and we would always end up playing the fools role in what we were doing but it didn't matter because "Everybody loves Raymond".

At a certain point in time, we decided to become entertainers. Be it country, opera, religious, rock or other, we sang, acted, rehearsed, laughed and generally we were terrible but again it didn't matter because "Everybody Loves Raymond".

On a more serious note, Ray was a true family man. He knew what family really meant and he embraced every moment that he spent with his. He loved his beloved wife Pat as much as anyone could. He cherished both of his sons, Scott and Mark and he beamed with pride whenever they were by his side or when he would be talking of them. Two daughter-in-laws, Trish and Brenda along with two beautiful grandchildren, Harrison and Madison became part of the family and immediatley became part of him and his life. They are all hurting so much today but will never forget him because "Everybody Loves Raymond"

In closing I can tell you that I will never forget Ray, my brother-in-law, my friend. The good times that we had will always be in my heart. Ray may be gone in person but never in memory. I came here tonight as I know all of you did and that is because "Everbody Loves Raymond".

Scott & Family:
I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Ray's passing. He was always a bright light in the dim world of the UTA weekend! His pleasant outlook & smile always made me happy to see him. He was a great person and he will be sorely missed by all of us, but most especially by the hospital personnel who worked with him.

Scott and Family, I was so sorry to learn of Ray's passing. He was a great person, who always made UTAs fun in some way, made us laugh. I'll never forget being activated with him during the first gulf war, never a dull moment. I know it's not an easy time for you and your family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

To Scott and his family
Your Dad was so full of life. I will always remember him as one who lived life to its fullest. When we would come back to the base on Annual Training, he would always go out for more. I will remember that his distinguished career included being on the wrong side of the Berlin wall the night the city was split into two. He made the run for the border and made it. I will also remember another run, in the Azores, running from the bulls. He was an incredibly brave man and always looking to see what life offered. I know that he loved his military and working career, but he loved his sons and wife more. He would talk about his family all the time. His military retirement came too soon and his passing even more so, he is probably out traveling with Smitty. These two stalwarts will be sorely missed.

Aunt Pat, Scott & Mark - I am sorry to hear of Uncle Ray's passing. I have such fond memories of the times spent with Uncle Ray, especially when he cut our hair as kids at your house. Even though my dad was telling him to cut it shorter, he did always try to do what we wanted. :) I will always remember his laugh..it was contagious. I know you must be missing him terribly right now, but in time I'm sure the memories you have will soothe the pain of your loss. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Much love, Dianne
