Raymond DeLuca Obituary

DeLUCA, RAYMOND S., 68, of Thunder Trail, Cranston, died Monday, August 11, 2008 at Kent County Hospital, Warwick. He was the beloved husband of Beverly A. (Improta) DeLuca. They were married for forty-four years.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Pasco and Margaret (Hill) DeLuca. Mr. DeLuca was an electrician and a member of Union Local #99 I.B.E.W., Cranston for thirty-five years before retiring in 1995. His passions were his family and the New York Yankees.

Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Doreen DeLuca McIntyre and her husband Kevin of Hope Valley, Wendy A. Taillon and her husband Christopher of Glocester and Jennifer R. Beauchamp and her husband David of Smithfield. Mr. DeLuca was the cherished grandfather of Ryder Taillon, Dylan McIntyre, Aidan McIntyre and Eden Rae Beauchamp. He was the brother of Norman T. DeLuca and his wife Jean of Narragansett, Patricia DiBiase of Cranston, and her late husband Paul, Jane Hamilton and her husband James of Cranston.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Friday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Providence Rescue Mission, 627 Cranston Street, Providence, RI 02907.
