Dora Brzoza Obituary

BRZOZA, DORA (HOOPIS), 94, of Clifden Avenue, Cranston, died Sunday, August 10, 2008 at South County Hospital, Wakefield. She was the beloved wife of Sylvester W. Brzoza. They were married for sixty years.

Mrs. Brzoza was employed by Textron Industries at both Gorham Silver Company and Spiedel for twenty years until her retirement. She was a graduate of Central High School, RI Academy of Hairdressing and the Helen and Josephine School of Design and Drafting.

Besides her husband she is survived by her loving daughter Debra Lynn Abilheira and her husband Manuel. Mrs. Brzoza was the cherished grandmother of Alexis Rae Abilheira of Exeter. She was the sister of Bessie Masiello of Coventry and the late Peter, Jimmy, George and Chris Hoopis.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 11:00 a.m. followed by services at 12:00 p.m. in Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 175 Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS Friday morning 10-11 a.m. Visit www.nardolillo.com for information and online condolences.

Debbie - So sorry to read of your mother's passing. I have many memories of both of you from the days of St. Matt's Band. She was so very proud of you - something you'll always have to remember. Think of you every time I see a litle girl with a baton.
