Luke Metro Obituary
Luke was the son of Paul and Pamela (Neri) Metro. Luke is survived by his Grandparents; Anthony and Carol Neri Jr. of Exeter, Paul R. Metro of Cranston, Glen and Kathleen Bankowski of West Warwick. Aunts and Uncles; Anthony and Courtney Neri III of North Kingstown, Neil A. Metro. Great Grandparents; Anthony and Jacqueline Neri of Pascoag, Madine Marsh of Harrisville, Mary C. Metro. Great Uncles; Donald and Arnold Larsen. Great Aunt Paulene Bellavance and two cousins Alexandra and Brittney Neri.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Luke R. Metro Memorial Fund c/o Citizens Bank, 1 Main St. Wakefield R.I. 02879. The funeral and burial was private. Arrangements by the Forbes Funeral Home.

Thank you all for your love and support, your prayers, and kindness. They say time heals; but here it is almost 3 years later; and I have found no solace, no comfort, no abatement. Luke, I miss you as much now, as I did then, maybe more. The pain is unbearable, I still cry every day. Without you my heart is shattered, my faith is shaken, my life is empty, and my hopes are lost. I love you; and miss you so much, daddy can't wait to be with you again and hold you in my arms. Every good thing I do, I do for you Bubba. Have fun in heaven, hopefully I'll see you soon.

To Pam and Paul i love you so much I never knew parents as loving has you. God must now you are strong people and he needed a angel to watch over all of us. He is always in our heart forever no one can take that from us. Everytime you look up he is looking down on us and makes the days alot better even when it rains thanks for making such a great angel for us. The words I need escape me. I cried when I heard about this on the news, but I only just now learned Luke was your son. A mother of three small children, my heart breaks for you and your wife and the thought of what you must be feeling brings me to tears. I wish there were some words that would bring you a measure of peace and comfort. I can not imagine the sense of loss you are feeling but I believe without a doubt, Luke is home and at peace. Someday, all will be home, all questions will be answered and there will be serenity. Until then, hold close your memories of Luke and reach out to others who want to be there for you. Even the recent pain of your loss of Luke, I share your grief and am so sorry for you! During this time of sadness I have myself thought about the deep love that I know you shared with Luke. Thinking about that alone and other memories of times we all shared together, as little time as it may have been, helped me to know that Luke will always be remembered and remain happily in our minds and hearts.
