Lovetta Holden Obituary
Born in Dayton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ralph Root Sr. and Glenna (Mayer) Root, she moved to Warwick in 1966.
Mrs. Holden was a Medical Assistant at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence until illness forced her retirement. She served in the US Navy from 1961 to 1963.
Besides her husband she is survived by her loving son Gerald R. Holden, Jr. of Bellingham, MA, one brother, Ralph Root Jr. of Rockledge, FL, two sisters Mildred L. O'Bryant of Xenia, OH, Marlene Joy Wilson of Lady Lake, FL. She was a sister of the late Romie Alexander, Meryl L. Root and Virginia L. Vandine.
Respecting the wishes of Mrs. Holden, her funeral and burial will be private. THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, www.murphyfuneralhomes.org

Dear Gerry I was saddened to hear of the death of your mom, I am very, very sorry for your loss. Please know that your are in my thoughts and prayers. I ask that you find solace in knowledge that she is now in peace. The greatest peace, no more pain or suffering. Celebrate her life, cry for her absence of presence, but be comforted in knowing that she would want you to once again smile and find joy in your life. Take care of each other, your dad will need you, Your mom will be pleased and honored. She is only away and you will meet again one day. Peace and friendship Gerry.
