Evelyn Lerner Obituary
Evelyn was a founding member of Temple Torat Yisrael and its Sisterhood. She was also a member of Crestwood Country Club. Devoted mother of Thomas Lerner and his wife Roberta of Marietta, GA and Dr. Lon Kopit and his wife Patricia of Denver, CO. Dear sister of Morris Cofman of Delray Beach, FL. Loving grandmother of Scott, Matthew, Benjamin and Skylar. Cherished great grandmother of Kennedy, Grace, Gabby and Seth. Graveside services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. in LINCOLN PARK CEMETERY, 1469 Post Rd., Warwick. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society. Shiva will be private. Arrangements by SHALOM MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Cranston.

I knew Evelyn through Temple and over the last several years as a friend of Melba's.
She was a lovely lady and was so proud of her family.

To Evelyn's family, I worked with Evelyn at Sears Roebuck for a number of years. She was affectionately known as Mama Turtle. Evelyn was a delight to be with and I am truly sorry for her passing. Nancy Crawley
