Vincent DeAngelis Obituary

DeANGELIS, VINCENT J., 68, formerly of Cranston and Pawtucket before moving to North Providence, passed away Friday at Memorial Hospital, Pawtucket. He was the husband of Loretta A. (Ferruche) DeAngelis.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Pasco and Celeste (Grimaldi) DeAngelis.

Mr. DeAngelis was vice president of the former Beatrix Jewelry and JWT Ent., Inc. of Pawtucket before retiring due to illness. He was a former member of Pawtucket Country Club.

Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Todd DeAngelis and Darren DeAngelis both of Cranston; a step-daughter, Deborah Amodei and a step-son, Mark Amodei both of North Providence; three grandsons, Darren Jr., Gian and Devin DeAngelis; four step-grandchildren, Jennifer Diggett, Jason Vecoli, Nicole and Broc Amodei; a step-great granddaughter, Aryana Amodei and a sister, Dorothy DeAngelis of North Providence.

His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Merrick R. Williams Funeral Home, 530 Smithfield Ave., Pawtucket. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Edward Church, Weeden St., Pawtucket. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Tuesday 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Save the Children, 54 Wilton Rd., Westport, CT 06880 in his memory would be appreciated.
