Arnet Bento Obituary
He was born in Providence, RI a son of Maria J. (Monterio) Bento and the late Matthew J. Bento. He is the father of Brandi A. Katongole, Nadine Mc Allister, Erick, Jeffrey and Devin Bento. He was the brother of Valorie Gonsalves, Priscilla and Steven Bento. He had 5 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00am in Mount Hope Community Baptist Church, 734 Hope Street. Calling hours in the church Monday 4:00 to 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations to Mount Hope Community Baptist Church.

I was very sorry to hear of Arnie's passing. Growing up on the East Side, Arnie was older than me and my crew but he always had a kind and/or an encouraging word for us. I am sure he will be missed my his family and many friends.

I can not express the sadness I feel for you and your family during this most difficult time. It sounds like a line from a sympathy card, but Arnie is truly in a better place now, and will suffer no more. The pain and sadness you feel now will never truly go away, but you will survive and some how learn to cope. You will have the prayers, love, support and strength of your family, friends, and extended family at King School.
I just wanted to let you know what an inspiration you have been to me. No matter how tired you were, how much sadness and pain you felt, you were always trying to make others laugh and feel better. You became the greatest teacher during the darkest part of your life. I know how much you taught me.
