Elinor Collins Obituary

COLLINS, ELINOR M. (COMEAU), 88, of Smithfield, died Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the Roger Williams Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Leo F. Collins, Sr.

Born in North Providence she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Delia (Lemelin) Comeau.

She leaves her children Leo F. Collins, Jr. of Meridianville, AL, Barry R. Collins of Smithfield, Kenneth M. Collins of Smithfield, Terry P. Collins of North Providence, Elinor M. Collins, Lynn M. Williams, and Charlene Holmes all of Smithfield, 12 grandchildren and 141/2 great grandchildren. She also leaves her siblings, Celia Mulcahey, Delia Mack, Deborah MacNeil, and Shirley Andoscia. She was sister of the late Joseph, Odile, Francis, and Donald Comeau.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8 AM from the ROBBINS FUNERAL HOME, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM in St. Michael Church, Georgiaville. Burial will be private. Calling hours Tuesday 5-8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ICU, Roger Williams Medical Center, 825 Chalkstone Ave., Providence, RI 02908.
