Helena Ervoes Obituary
Born Nov. 19, 1935, in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Agostinho and Helena (Araujo) Melo. She worked for many years at Speidel.
She is survived by her three sons, Victor Brilhante of Warren, and Antonio Brilhante and Paul Brilhante of East Providence; her three daughters, Nelia Linhares of Pawtucket, Fatima Brilhante of East Providence and Maria Levesque of Coventry; her nine grandchildren, Gary, Kevin, Monica, Samantha, Derrick, Steven, Mitchell, Brandon and Alyson; and her two great grandchildren, Damon and Sylas, and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of Maria Conceicao Raposo and Jose Maria Melo, both of Canada.
Relatives and friends are invited to a service Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. in the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence. Calling hours will be held Wednesday before the service, from 4-7 p.m. www.rebellofuneralhome.com

I live downstairs from Helena and I am greatly sadden by her passing. She was a kind and beautiful woman who always had a smile a pleasant words. My deepest sympathies go to the family. she will surely be missed.
