To The Tattrie Family...
Although I do not know you, I knew Jean and she was the closest thing you will ever find here on earth to an Angel. I am one of the many people that had the PLEASURE of taking care of her at Milford Regional Medical Center and I miss her beyond words. Today one of our patients walked in with the perfume she use to wear (I never did get a chance to ask Jean what it was) and I asked her the name...she said it was ANGEL ....and although we lose many patients during our career I have never cried as uncontrollably as I did today. You were so lucky to have her and I am sure she is up in heaven making more people smile. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

God Bless

Hi Brian & Chris & family: I couldn't believe it when I found out about Jeannie's death from Facebook. One of my former classmates had it posted on her page. I in a way got to know her, because she was an assistant to my mother who ran a daycare from our home. She was a great lady. She'll definitely never be forgotten.

Dear Bryan, Nadia and Family,
One of my fondest memories of your mom was seeing her at your wedding. Your mom had such a bright and powerful presence. She was the kind of person you just wanted to be around, to talk and listen to her. We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Allen, Chris and Bryan I was so shocked to read that Jeannie had passed away. Although we hadn't seen one another in recent years, I will always remember her with fondness. She was always so upbeat and had an incredible sense of humor. We had some great times together in high school and for years after we reconnected at one of our reunions. She will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Allen, Christopher, Bryan & Nadia, my godmother touched my whole life as first my cousin, my mentor, my sister, my friend and last yet most precious "My Godmother". There are no words to express our love for her or the way we feel. As much as we want her here, she is where there is no pain and doing what she loves most. She is and always will be in our hearts forever. Love to all of you.

Every once in a while
God allows angels
To exist on earth
To provide solace
From existence
And make life tolerable

Their purpose serves
To afford love
And kindness
Without expecting
Anything in return
Except make us happy

We remember Jeannie
By cherishing memories
A soft touch a smile
A voice pure in song
She lives eternal
In hearts broken.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

My deepeset condolensces to the Tattrie family. Jeannie was an incredibly spririted woman whose love of life and smile radiated a room. I'll forever be grateful for having had our paths cross early on in my life, as she was a breath of fresh air, an inspiration, and so much fun. She had a unique ability to look for the bright spot in everything.
I was quite shocked when I learned she had developed cancer several years ago, and though I hadn't bumped into her in recent times, I assumed she was doing well. Logging onto the website and seeing she had passed away was a complete shock.
Jeannie, thanks for helping with my campaign when I was running for a board in our town. Thank you for being a graceful, kind, generous, and absolutely beautiful human being. The world is a little more empty today without your presence.
God Bless each one of her family and friends.
