Yia Yia was strong, beautiful, gracious and fiercely funny. I will always be grateful for having had her in my life and for how much she loved her children and her grandchildren. My love is with you,

To The Family:
Kay was such a beautiful woman and I am lucky to have known her. She was very kind to my mother and I and always made us feel welcome in her home. I often remember the holiday dinners we attended at the Rumford house and how much fun we had- and I've never had Greek easter cookies as delicious as the ones YaYa made. I will always remember her and be grateful for the warm memories she has given to me.

To Peter and Elanor,
Both your mother and father were affectionately called Uncle John and Aunt Kay. Many fond memories of your parents at Giovanni's and your house.
God Bless,

Eleanor and Peter,
Your mother was my second mother. I will never forget how she and your father always included me in family vacations when I was a child. That meant a lot to me. I will treasure the times we had every summer at the beach house, all of us together. Your mother was such a special aunt to me. When I had my own children, she absolutely loved them as her own grandchildren. That was amazing! She was also the most caring sister to my mother. Hours and hours on the phone! I'm glad they had this time to spend together during the past year. We will all miss her.

To the Family,
Kay was a person who has made a great impression on everybody. We saw a 1938 newspaper clipping picture of her as the Grecian Queen. She was just beautiful. We send you our condolences.
