Richard Sousa Obituary

SOUSA, RICHARD B., age 64, of 200 Benefit St., Pawtucket, formerly of Coomer Ave, Warren for many years, died Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence.

Born in Fall River, MA, a son of the late Arthur Sousa and the late Ida (Simonelli) Kay. He was a machine operator for the former Little and Co. formerly in Providence.

He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Allen of Lincoln and Lori Serpa of New Bedford, MA, three grandchildren, and a step-sister, Susannah Michaud of Maine. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Sousa.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service, Thursday at 10 AM in the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bristol. Visiting hours Wednesday, 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of RI, 260 West Exchange St., Suite 102-B, Providence, RI 02903.
