Such a man was Ralph! For only a few years did I know him. The strongest memory I have is the utter pride he had on his face when on June 25, 1999 he walked his dear daughter Marie Nancy down the aisle at The Church of The Master in Olneyville as she would be married to John Andrew Walsh. And then I asked him, “Do you give your blessing to the union of Marie and John in this marriage?” And he said, “I do!” Clearly he knew what blessing was, as he was a blessing himself. While he is gone, his blessing remains.
