Yvette Howard Obituary
Born in West Warwick, a daughter of the late Wilfrid and Florina (LaBelle) LaPorte. She had been a resident of Coventry for 45 years.
Mrs. Howard is survived by two daughters, Suzanne M. Donovan of Greene and Linda C. Zommer of Warwick; two sisters, Cecile Eccleston of West Warwick and Rachel Klos of Coventry and six grandchildren, Shannon Donovan, Tracey Wilhelmsen, Eugene Zommer, Jr., Eric Boyd, Steven and Kerri Zommer. She was the sister of the late Florina Champlin, Wilfrid LaPorte, Jr. and Lucy Gauthier.
Her funeral will be held on Friday at 8 a.m. from the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. in SS. John and Paul Church, 341 South Main St., Coventry. Interment will follow in RI Veterans Cemetery. Visitation Friday 8-8:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association, 801 Roeder Rd., Ste. 400, Silver Spring, MD 20910, in her memory would be appreciated.
