ASSANTI, MARY Y., 77, of Manton Avenue, Providence passed away August 16, 2008. She was the wife of the late Raffaele Assanti, Jr.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Yvonne (Guilbault) Denoncour.

She was the mother of Ralph E. III, Richard A., and Edward C. Assanti, and Gina M. Martin; sister of Walter, Ernest, and Joseph Denoncour, Loretta Prosser, and the late Roland Denoncour and Ora Oberg; grandmother of 4.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial funeral Mass on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, Hartford Ave., Prov. Arrangements by Romano Funeral Home. Visit www.mem.com

Could it be our loved ones wanting to touch us once more?

There are so many of natures wonders and do we really know why?
Is there a higher power making sure we always remember the loved one we’ve lost and shall never forget.

SOMEONE IS MISSING

Let this be a loving reminder
That someone is missing today.
Someone our hearts still hold on to,
As we travel along life's way
Someone who made life so special,

But cherished from year to year.

Dear Ralphy, Richard, Eddy, Ginna and all Family & Friends:

I have nothing but fond memories of my Auntie Yvonne. She tought us how to do the twist on Sonoma Court! I remember her wonderful cooking and her coffee and pastries as we would sit around the kitchen table and visit. She is now with the chain of family members that is forming in Heaven. We will see you all again when our time comes to join you all in Heaven.

My Dear Auntie Yvonne, I will always remember your warm hospitality when we visited.The way you would cover your mouth when you laughed .Your love for your nieces and nephews through the years.
