A. Perlman Obituary
Born in Plainfield, NJ, a son of the late Harry and Lillian (Frucht) Perlman, he had been a resident of East Hills, Long Island, NY before moving to North Kingstown 6 years ago.
Mr. Perlman was a graduate of the former Etz Chaim Yeshiva in Brooklyn and was a graduate of Brooklyn College.
He was the owner of the former American Hydrolube, retiring in 2002. Mr. Perlman served in the Seabees during WWII, stationed in the Philippines and China. He was a member of Temple Sinai in Cranston.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children; Marc Perlman and Alan Perlman, both of North Kingstown, his sister; Elaine Perlmutter of NJ, his brother; Jerry Perlman of NYC, and his grandchildren; Adam, Sarah, Leah, Benjamin, Daniel and Maris. He was the brother of the late Sylvia Rosenberg.
The funeral service will be held TODAY, Monday, September 1st at 1:00 PM in Temple Sinai, 30 Hagan Ave., Cranston, with burial in Lincoln Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Shiva will be observed at the home of Marc & Claire Perlman, 180 Shady Cove Rd., North Kingstown, Mon 7-9, and Tue & Wed 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Arrangements by Sugarman-Sinai Memorial Chapel.
