Roland Morin Obituary
Born in West Warwick, a son of the late Ronaldo and Lydia (Massie) Morin, he lived in Coventry and West Warwick for most of his life. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Morin was a truck driver for UNOCAL in Providence for 10 years before retiring.
He is survived by two sons, James L. Morin of San Francisco, and Steven R. Morin, and his wife Stacey, of Warwick; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and his beloved companion, Gerri Forster.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 4, at 10 a.m. in the Potvin & Cotter Funeral Home, 45 Curson Street, West Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited, and may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 9-10 a.m. Burial with military honors will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Odyssey Health Care Hospice, 2374 Post Road, Suite 206, Warwick, RI 02886.

I had the pleasure of knowing Jim when I was the Property Manager at Woodland. I enjoyed when he would stop by the office and sit and chat with me.
I know how much he was loved by family and everyone he touched.
My heart goes out to Jim's family and Geri at this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May you find peace, comfort and support.

I knew Jim very well. He was a very kind and considerate gentleman.He was a friend to all no matter what walks of life. He will be missed by us all. Our prayers go out to his family and especially Geri who was his guardian angel. You can rest in peace now andno more pain. Loved ya Janis.
