Rose Lima Obituary

LIMA, ROSE M. (LOMBARDO), 87, of Old Pocasset Lane, Johnston, formerly of Bristol, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2008 at Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston. She was the wife of Joseph Lima for the past 57 years.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Leonardo and Francesca (Massaro) Lombardo.

Rose worked for the former PF Industries of Bristol for many years before retiring in 1980.

Besides her husband she is survived by a sister Angela Cola of Johnston, and several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Grace Kandzierski and Gregory Lombardo.

Funeral and visitation from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, on Thursday at 8:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Ghost Church, Providence, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Kindly omit flowers.

Dear Joe and Family,
I am sorry for the passing of Rose.
I will always remember her at Pocasset Bay Manor. Joe, you were a very good husband and never stopped visiting with Rose. Please know I am thinking of you.
