Dear Maria, I am truly sadden to hear of the passing of one of my oldest friends. As you probably remember, Bob & I worked together for over 25 years at RIDOT Materials. He was always willing to help me learn the more technical parts of Materials testing. His work ethics & knowledge were the highest of anyone that I ever worked with. Long after his retirement, he was always available to help me solve Materials problems. Bob was truly a great person. God bless you, Al

To the Fruggiero Family,
I have very fond memories of Bob, working with him at the DOT in the 80's. He was such a kind and sweet man, and always had a smile. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss.

Dear Marie and Chris,
I was so saddened to hear of your loss. I will always remember Bob as a very neat, cool, good looking man. Even when he was angry with me and Chris for doing something stupid when we were younger. You are in my prayers.

To the Fruggiero Family:
Mr. Bob Fruggiero worked and helped me and my colleague to establish joint materials and research programs between RIDOT and URI. He also attended several RI Transportation Forums at URI, and provided good comments and advices for better transportation infrastructure and system. I would remember him as a serious professional engineer with gentle smile. We will miss him a lot. Our group would like to present our condolences to all of you.
Sincerely yours,

To the Fruggiero Family:
I had the pleasure of working with Bob at the DOT. For a few years we shared an office on the 3rd floor. During heavy rains, our ceilings leaked. He always took it in stride. Bob knew materials and he was well respected for that. I will always remember his kind demeanor and warm smile when I think of who I worked with at DOT. Please accept by sincerest sympathy.
