Linda Lucchetti Obituary

LUCCHETTI, LINDA A., 54, of Maple Ave., Newport, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2008 at Newport Hospital. She was the beloved wife of David Joseph.

Born in Providence, the devoted daughter of Raymond F. Lucchetti, Sr. of Cranston and the late Pauline M. (Gaudreau) Lucchetti, she lived in Cranston before moving to Newport in 2003.

Linda worked as a receptionist for many years.

Besides her husband and father, she was the loving mother of Deana M. DuBois of Cranston, Anthony R. DuBois of Warwick and Kristen M. DuBois of Newport; loving grandmother of six; and dear sister of Barbara D. Harwood of Port St. Lucie, FL, Paula M. Saunders of Haines City, FL, and Raymond F. Lucchetti, Jr. of Cranston.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Roccos Church, 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS MONDAY 4-8 pm

My mom was great. I have never seen someone that was so understanding and caring. I have to believe she is in a better place looking down on me, Deana and Kristen. She did a great job bringing us up. May she rest peacefully. Love ya mom, "Ant"
