Juliette Lantagne Obituary

LANTAGNE, JULIETTE D. (DESROSIERS), 86, of Windsor Park Drive, Coventry, died on Tuesday, September 9, 2008. She was the wife of the late Lionel L. 'Chief' Lantagne.

Born in West Warwick, a daughter of the late Phidellem and Rose (Valliere) Desrosiers, she lived in Coventry for most of her life.

Mrs. Lantagne was a seamstress at the former Ortex Industries in West Warwick for over 20 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of the AARP, West Warwick Chapter # 2210, and was an avid bowler.

She is survived by a son, Dennis R. Lantagne of Coventry; a daughter, Doris C. Broomhead, and her husband Jonathan, of Coventry; a grandson, Robert P. Bates; and two great-granddaughters. She was the grandmother of the late Gary J. Bates, Jr., and the sister of the late Jeanne D'Arc Levesque and Alfred Desrosiers.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, September 12, at 9 a.m. from the Potvin & Cotter Funeral Home, 45 Curson Street, West Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Church, St. Vincent de Paul Street, Coventry. Visiting hours are Thursday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Warwick.
