Mr. and Mrs. Bursley,
I am truly heartbroken to hear about Wendy's passing. I will always remember Wendy for her strength, kindness and generosity. She was there for me when I needed a friend and never had a harsh word for me despite my faults. I only wish I had more memories of her and had shared more time with her in my life. The memories I do have will be kept close to my heart forever. I will never forget her. A real genuine lady.

Wendy was a cherished colleague and friend. She brought light and perspective to every conversation. I have fond memories of traveling the world together in Milan, Athens, London, and Shanghai as well as hanging out in the back yard or her place playing with my kids. She touched so many lives and in more ways then she was ever present to. Our love to all who knew this wonderful women.

There have so many emails going through Wendy’s network of friends who are deeply saddened by her death. She was a remarkable young woman and I shall always remember her for her exceptional talent. I carry many images of Wendy easily slipping into another persona as she embodied characters with a grace and intensity all too rare. Her illness prevented her from continuing in an acting career. I have no doubt that she would have been one of the greats. Not that long ago we talked about her need to put aside that gift and she spoke of a transition she made without bitterness or anger. She went on to find satisfaction in other choices, all the while struggling with a terrible disease. I shall always remember Wendy as the student who later became the cherished friend. I know hundreds of others carry the memory of a beautiful woman with exquisite carriage who swept commandingly across a stage reflecting a prism of emotions that blinded us with their flashes of insight. I hope her friends and family can take comfort in these memories. I know that I do.
