Richard Brunelle Obituary

BRUNELLE, RICHARD C. 'DICK', 71, of Slater Park Avenue, Pawtucket, died Monday at the Miriam Hospital Providence. He was the beloved husband of Ida (Gingras) Brunelle; they had celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, September 6th.

Born in Pawtucket a son of the late Adelard and Noella (Tetreault) Brunelle, he was a lifelong resident of the city. Dick was the owner-operator of Brunelle Crane Service of Pawtucket for thirty years. He was a member of Local 57 Operating Engineers of Providence and a member of the Edgewood Yacht Club of Cranston and was a communicant of St. Theresa Church, Pawtucket.

Survivors: besides his loving wife Ida, he leaves five sons, Raymond Brunelle of Rehoboth, Mass., Robert Brunelle of Fall River, Mass. David Brunelle of Pawtucket, Donald Brunelle of Seekonk, Mass., and Scott Brunelle of Pawtucket. He also leaves a brother. Normand Brunelle of Pawtucket, and 9 grandchildren.

His Funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 A.M. from the LACHAPELLE FUNERAL HOME, 643 Main St., Pawtucket with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa Church, Newport Ave., Pawtucket at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. His life will be celebrated with calling hours Thursday from 5-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be made to the Rhode Island Heart Assn., 222 Richmond St., Prov., RI 02903.
